The company hospital of the Siantar Doctor Fund at Dolok Merangir was established about 1927. The hospital was subject to presentation at the Hygiene Fair at Bandoeng in 1927. Its picture was to be consulted in the catalogue of the Hygiene Fair.

Siantar was a selfgoverning Landschap in the subdepartment Simeloengoen, department Simeloengoen and Karo-lands, Government of East Sumatra. The capital town is the well-known Pematangsiantar. (Gonggryp 1934, 1291).
