From KV 1900: The number of health resorts or convalescence clinics was expanded with the new establishment “Merbaboe”, situated at the land lease lot Dadapan (District Ngasinan of the residency Kedoe). There were at least 5 other convalescence centers on Java and one on Sumatra.
