Maternity hospital Boedi-Kemoeliaan

The Association Budi Kemuliaan (Noble wisdom) was founded at the end of the 1920s. They received subsidy conform Staatsblad 1928 no. 540, regulating subsidies for private hospitals and auxiliary hospitals. In the Mededeelingen DVG (Dienst Volksgezondheid) of 1939 (XXVIII) it is mentioned that the training for midwives also took place in the private hospital Boedi-Kemoeliaan at Batavia. In 1937 a number of 17 pupils (of whom 8 mantri nurses of the DVG) passed successfully their examinations and became midwives.

Nowadays (2018) the hospital still exists under the name Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Budi Kemuliaan and is situated on the Jalan Budi Kemuliaan nr. 25 in Jakarta Pusat (Kode 3173105). It is classified as a hospital Class B.
