KV 1906: in 1905 a government subsidy was granted to the indigenous auxiliary hospital at Ambarawa, that is directed by a protestant missionary who has demonstrated that he disposes of sufficient medical know how.
This subsidy has been granted according to the subsidy regulations of Indisch Staatsblad 1906 no. 276. In the jubilee report of the hospital of Poerwodadi can be read that Mr. Kruyt, an European nurse had been examined at Blora and subsequently had been transferred to the auxiliary hospital of the missionary teacher A. Zimmerbeutel of the Salatiga-mission at Ambarawa.
