This mission hospital was a general hospital that was established by the Zending Doopsgezinde Gemeente at Tajoe (Semarang).
From Geneeskundig Tijdschrift voor Nederlandsch-Indie, part 81, edition 42, 21 October 1941, pag. 2279: Because of the war Semarang went through financial problems, together with Kelet and Soekoen. The number of admissions was diminished as a consequence of those problems. The number of admissions at Tajoe hospital diminished by 1,246 and at Kelet hospital by 884. The number of childbirth deliveries was 339.
