The indigenous hospital at Pampanoea (Celebes) was established by Government Decision of 2 Oktober 1908  no. 12. The corresponding regulations were  renewed (Regeeringsalmanak 1927 Grondgeboed en Bevolking _1.CV, p. 396).

In the 1930s, Pampanoea was the principal town of the department Bone within the Government Celebes and Dependencies (Gonggryp 1934, 1121).
