Tandjong Pernei (Res.Banka)

In the annual report 1902 of the Civil Medical Service it is mentioned that on Tandjung Pernei a leprosy asylum is found , composed of a small building for Chinese patients and a small house for the indigenous patients. The number of leprosy patients amounted to 26 in 1902. 11 of them departed for China.

On the 1st of January 1909 a number of 21 leprosy patients was present, whereas during 1909 a number of 6 patients joined the list of patients.
