According to the Koloniaal Verslag for the years 1874/1875:
In order to nurse sick prostitutes the government founded a new establishment at Batavia about 1875. In this establishment 80 patients could be nursed.
The Koloniaal Verslag. 1887/88 mentions the numbers of admissions and deceased of this establishment: 560 admissions, 2 deceased and 492 patients were discharged because of recovery.
In 1911 the hospital was closed together with similar institutions, because the government policy complied with international standards that denied the usefulnes of this kind of institutions.
