The Chinese hospital of Semarang was founded by the College of Boedelmeesters and was at first a private hospital. Later on it  belonged to the public hospitals. It was closed in 1912 (See Statute Book nr. 585 of 6 November 1911, decision of the Governor General of 30 October 1911).
