In 1966, Mgr. DR. AH. Van Den Hurk (late) as the Archbishop of Medan through the Council of the Roman Catholic Church of Simalungun Regency / Pematangsiantar Municipality made plans to establish a hospital according to information received from several priests in Pematangsiantar at that time. The Suka Maju Village Upper Ball Field Pematangsiantar Municipality, with the status of a Private Hospital. And as Hospital Leader is Sr. Meinalda FCJM (Netherlands) and the doctor in charge is dr. Luhut Lumban Tobing. This hospital was established under the auspices of the Medan Archdiocese, so the owner is the Medan Archdiocese.
